Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I had a very fun time with this medium crossbody +4 mystery box. My main bag is tulip, which is a color outside of what I would usually pick for myself, since I usually convince myself that neutral colors are more practicala. Thisis a great way for me to branch out. Pleased with the other items as well--some will be gifts, and this makeup bag in havana was immediately put to use.

I didn’t really think I would enjoy a mystery box. I thought I would rather just buy what I want. After choosing my own items for a few months— I spontaneously decided to order a mystery box and settled on the medium CB one. I had NO IDEA how exciting it would be!! From stalking the tracking, to opening the box —it was exhilarating! Everything in the box was lovely. The MB is a cool and exciting way to get bags that aren’t available on the site. It’s also cheaper than buying the items individually. I would absolutely do it again and actually, my best friend and I just split a 3+8 tote MB and had a blast opening it together with a custom playlist and sushi. We even made an unboxing video. If you’re tempting to try a mystery box—go for it!

Tulip unicorn is a very earthy rose pink color and buttery soft, the Reef makeup bag is Devine! Just those 2 things alone make it worth it. I will be buying one again in the future! Love this MB! The colors are gorgeous. And it smells amazing. I usually use a smaller purse; the medium CB will be the first one I've tried that's this big. I received: Classic Medium Crossbody in Kiwi? Avocado? (it’s darker than Kiwi but lighter than Avocado), Eclipse in Plum, Sidekick in Nutmeg, Passport Holder in Black, Card Case/Minimalist Wallet in Blue Steel. The leather is so soft and the quality is incredible.

The Medium Cross Body Mystery Box FAR exceeded my expectations!! This was my first mystery box and won’t be my last. My medium cross body color is Dream and it is pebbled, soft, and squishy while holding its shape well. I also received a Bacalar Sidekick, an Empire Adriana, a wrap journal, and a Sunflower keychain. The coolest thing about the box is that I received all colors I had never seen in person. I can’t wait to order another!
Once you buy one mystery box, you’ll be hooked. So many different possibilities, all gorgeous and high quality pieces!
While I ended up giving away half of what was in my box, I still loved it! The thrill of the mystery colors & styles, the possibility of rare colors, getting my favorite retiree (Adrianna). I want to buy this mystery box again and again!
Purchasing mystery boxes from Portland leather has become something of an addiction! You never know what you’re going to get and it’s always something fun and different and rarely something you would’ve chosen but something that you’re guaranteed to appreciate when someone lovingly chooses it for you! In my last box, I received a fantastically pebbled unicorn Quartz, which I’d never have thought I’d like- but now I can’t put it down! If you’re not sure, here’s your sign, try it!
I love a good mystery but Portland Leather Goods really puts out a great mystery!! My medium Grizzly Crossbody Tote is absolutely gorgeous and the little!!! I love them all!
