Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

This sling is a little bit bigger than the Sydney, and holds quite a bit more! This one doesn’t have the sliding ring on the back like Sudney does, but you can still wear it in many different ways. The back zippered pocket holds my iPhone 15 pro max with a case and a grip ring, although getting it inside when the bag is full is harder than when it’s empty; bonus is that since it’s a zipper compartment so VERY secure! Here are some pics of what fits (the pic with lots of items do all fit, but most of the items were empty, so take that into consideration). I’m 5’4” and 145lbs, for reference.

This bag is very cute. I ended up giving it to my mom and she loves it.
I absolutely love this bag and have received several compliments! The AP version gives the bag more character and this really is the perfect size! This is my second Portland Leather bag and I know that I’ll continue finding more bags I love!
Personally, sling bags are not my thing. However, it seems to be my daughter's preferred style so I purchased this lovely sling in pebbled black and despite her claims that she doesn't "need" any bags, she happily accepted this gift. She loves it!
I have the Sydney sling also but I love how you can turn the Scarlett sling from front to back without taking it off.
I own two of these bags now and love them! They are quickly becoming my most carried PLG bags. Definitely recommend.
