Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Just received my Lagoon mini crossbody. The leather has a lot of variations, on one side of the front pocket it is completely smooth. First I didn't like it, but now the more I look at it, I totally fell in love with it. It has a lot of pull-up, and so much character. I would probably only buy Almost Perfect, as these bags are so unique! Lagoon is my favorite leather, so squishy!

I’m really impressed with the sunflower, mini tote! Not only is it comfortable? It’s easy to get in and out of my items do not fall out of it. I have a cosmetic bags inside that zips-it keeps things organized. but I’m just so surprised at how much room is inside this bag and I’m impressed with after wearing it for a while it softens up enough, but it still stands tall. I love it! I love the color.😃

If you’re around 5’2” like me, this is the perfect size for your things and the last hole on the strap makes for the perfect drop length. The bag depth is perfect to fit your small wallet (I have their small envelope one), keys, a bottle of water, snacks, and other small misc items. I have this bag in nutmeg too and I can see why other people are obsessed with PLG! Everything is so well made, perfect, and smells so good. FYI, I was able to return an online purchase at their retail store in Portland. No exchanges at their store, just returns. And then if you find something you like instead, you can just buy it there :)
My new favorite! Deep Water Mini CB Tote

This little bag is just the right size! I love being able to use the grab handles when throwing it into my car, and the crossbody strap is convenient for carrying it hands-free. When I looked at the dimensions listed online, I didn't think my Samsung tablet would fit, but it does with a little diagonal twist. My only complaint was the lack of a key strap inside, but I was able to remedy that by adding my own jump ring with mini carabiner attached to the inner tab where the strap hooks on, as shown in the second photo.

The creators truly are picky about their work because I found NOTHING wrong and neither did my boyfriend, father, and mother. I love leather and it’s been hard for me to find the perfect purse that is high quality and also inexpensive. The “Almost Perfect” bags fit all of the requirements for this. I have never ever been one to care about purses. I usually buy what's functional and don't give it a second thought. But when I needed a new purse, internet searching lead me to PLG. I loved the whole process of buying this purse. The scrolling, the research, the anticipation, the wondering if it would be as good as everyone said, etc. It took 6 days from order to holding and I've had it now about 2 weeks. The meadow is gorgeous. My hands keep wandering to feel the texture. It holds the essentials plus so much more. Plus, every time my eye catches it sitting on the corner, I smile. Like, really smile. This is so unlike me and I'm loving every minute of it!

Initially I purchased a medium and found it too large for my frame. The mini is the perfect daily carry size and the color is beautiful. Mine did arrive with some strong odor from the dye but I let it sit in my sunroom for a few days and it has dissipated entirely. Customer service was fabulous as well!
