Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.
SMALL: Great for those that travel light on the daily – it can fit a water bottle, snacks, book, wallet, and sunglasses comfortably. Measures 11” wide across the bottom, 13” wide across the top, 4.5” deep and 11.5” tall.
MEDIUM: Can fit a water bottle, snacks, a book, wallet, sunglasses and a 13” Macbook snugly. Measured 11.5” wide across the bottom, 15” wide across the top, 5.5” deep, and 12” tall.
LARGE: Fits a water bottle, snacks, book, wallet, sunglasses, back-up shirt, and a 15” Macbook snugly. Measures 13” wide across the bottom, 18” wide across the top, 6” deep, and 12” tall.
OVERSIZED: Fits all that plus a pair of jeans and a larger laptop comfortably. Measures 14” wide across the bottom, 21” wide across the top, 6” deep, and 13” tall.
The drop length for all of our handles is 10.5” regardless of the size of the tote, and suits most!

OS and Small totes in Wisteria

I ordered the OS Zip tote and the Small Classic tote both in Wisteria. Purple is my favorite color and I love the pebbled leather in Wisteria. I got the OS tote in the zip so that I actually have a tote that zips closed for traveling since I travel for work frequently. I actually prefer the totes in the classic style without the zip just because I prefer the way they look. I wish the zipper was attached the way the zippers in the mini crossbody totes or the Lola are attached. I actually love the Small classic tote as a daily carry. I was afraid it was going to be larger than what I would prefer. I try to limit myself to bags the size of the mini CB so that I am not tempted to overload the bag and make it too heavy. The handles on the Small tote are just the right length for carrying on my shoulder and make the bag quite comfortable - a new favorite!

Durango is beautiful

I love my Durango almost perfect medium classic tote! I went back and forth on getting it and am so glad that I did. Durango is a deep chocolatey brown with some red undertones (I don’t think the red in Durango is as prominent as in Cognac). The leather is smooth and soft. I love this tote - I use it regularly and the medium comfortably fits a Bozeman wallet, a utility, and a few notebooks and books. I love this bag for running errands or for bringing to a coffee shop to get work done.

Medium Bone tote, with Tandles! Moved out of my Rainstorm for this, I would say for my first time with classic no Zip it is a great bag! I am learning more about my preferences I think long term I will be a Zip probably cross body, more than tote. Having said that I really like the size and love the color! This is definitely a keeper!

For the amount of money I have spent ordering and keeping and ordering and returning I could have flown to Oregon and shopped at the store to get the perfect bag, which by the way I just received today. It’s hard to judge by a tape measure whether the bag will be what you want and I have been wrong several times. Now I have “several” bags that I thought were just what I want but they’re either too big or just not me. I ordered the medium tote but….I’ll keep it because it’s a nice bag but the small tote is just perfect for me. I’m glad I kept ordering until I got the right one. Thank you PLG and your variety !!
I waited on Wisteria for almost too long, but now that I have her I'm loving it. Perfect color and perfect size for spring and summer.
This was my first purchase from PLG. I've had lot of leather bags. But this is my favorite by far. The smell.. bag is structured without being stiff.

This medium zipper tote is a perfect size for my change of shoes after a run, extra jacket & energy drink. It's beautiful in varied shades of blue with a smooth firm, leather. I like that it goes with any color of jeans & much of my wardrobe.
