Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

A Great Bag

I love this backpack and color! The leather is vibrant and it's such a cool color, looks great inside and spectacular out in the sunlight. It is pretty soft, although I'm sure it will soften a lot more with use. There is one small pocket inside and the flap is doubled over leather that creates a kind of pocket as well. One part that I'm not entirely sure how to deal with is the straps. They're really quite long and leave a lot of tail when I'm wearing it. There is no way in the bag design to deal with the extra (nothing to hold them, or fold them in somehow). I'm wondering if I should cut the long dangling tails? If PLG has any suggestions on how they are meant to be handled I'd be happy to hear

What a cute bag. It was perfect for a purse/day bag on a trip. The front inner pocket on the flap was a nice surprise, and I tucked my passport there. It’s quickly becoming a go to bag for everyday.

I haven't carried a backpack since High School, which is over 20 years ago now... And I honestly thought the idea of carrying a backpack without a front or back pocket would drive me insane, so I held off on this even though I love the bucket style. However, I'm SO glad I finally tried it and I love it so much that I actually own two: Coldbrew and Sangria 😅🤦 (and believe me, my handbag obsession is real so I really didn't need two🤣...). Although not having an outside pocket does bother me sometimes, it's actually not as big of a deal as I thought because the bucket style allows for such easy access that it works as is! And the wide straps are so, so comfortable and never, ever fall off or slide on my teeny, small boned frame. I like to wear it either on one shoulder or both and both options are perfectly comfy! I love the Tote backpack and the Bucket backpack and have a hard time switching back to a regular handbag when carrying a lot. This bag is truly beautiful and so well designed. PLG is my fav!

The size is perfect, it wears comfortably, there is a pocket inside and one in the flap. I got mine in the cape coral color and I wasn't expecting it to be as soft and beautiful as it is. I liked it so much I've ordered a second one.

I really love the leather and the color of my new backpack. I got the AP version and it has some differences in pebbling and some stretch marks—which are both features that I love. I haven’t yet used the bag, beyond trying on and filling, yet, because I’m considering putting it aside for my husband to give me for Christmas, if I can handle the wait. I feel lucky to have gotten this nice red color and I don’t know if it will be around to buy when Christmas rolls around.

I always keep a simple backpack style for weekend shopping so I can be hands free and no worry about my back disappearing. Decided to upgrade to a PLG cold brew leather one and I love it. I love their leather because it takes a beating from me (I don’t baby them) and they just get better. This is spacious enough to carry whatever u need and I can secure the drawstring and I know my things are safe. Cherry on top is it looks good! I can’t believe I didn’t snag this one sooner!

Oh my gosh! I love this back pack! I often need to go hands free but was unsure whether this bag would work for me even though I loved the style. I ordered the beautiful classic Cold Brew and it has quickly become a favorite. It is soft, pliable, beautifully pebbled and gorgeous, rich, dark brown. The size is perfect, neither too large or too small and fits my stuff, including wallet, make up bag, notebook, checkbook, glasses case, keys and Kindle easily and closes securely. It’s an easy carry vis back or shoulder whether packed light or full. Love it!🤎
The Eucalyptus Bucket Backpack is gorgeous leather crafted into a useful bag. It's very roomy inside, and the flap top is both cute and practical. The shoulder straps are wide enough to prevent shoulder strain, but I'm just as likely to use the grab-strap, and carry it with one hand. There's a useful pocket on the inside.
This backpack is one I had been eyeing for several years, I finally decided to order it and every expectation was exceeded by this beautiful leather backpack, the perfect size and holds everything I need on a daily basis. I couldn’t be happier. Don’t wait, buy, buy,buy!
