MEDIUM: Can fit a water bottle, snacks, a book, wallet, sunglasses and a 13” Macbook snugly. Measured 10.5” wide across the base, 15” wide across the top, 5.5” deep, and 12” tall.
LARGE: Fits a water bottle, snacks, book, wallet, sunglasses, back-up shirt, and a 15” Macbook snugly. Measures 11” wide across the base, 18” wide across the top, 6” deep, and 12” tall.
OVERSIZED: Fits all that plus a pair of jeans and a larger laptop comfortably. Measures 13.5” wide across the base, 21” wide across the top, 6” deep, and 13” tall.
The drop length for all of our handles is 10.5” regardless of the size of the tote, and suits most!
INSIDE & OUTSIDE POCKET: All totes have an inside pocket that measures approximately 6” x 8” – great for a smartphone and some lip balm, as well as an outside pocket for easy storage.
KEY LOOP: A standard feature of all totes – no more digging around for your keys!
FULL-GRAIN LEATHER: Our leather is the highest quality full-grain chap and English bridle leather available. We only use US hides and since American leather is a byproduct of the beef industry, we like to think that we're helping to minimize waste by using hides that may otherwise be wasted. This kind of leather will never look flawless, as it hasn't been covered in any kind of plastic coating. Don’t worry about keeping the tote perfect - the best part about 100% full-grain leather is that it just gets better with age.
UNLINED AND OPEN INTERIOR: Our Tote Bags are unlined, featuring the natural suede underside of the leather on the inside. We use full-grain, oil-tanned leather that is incredibly durable and water tight – it's the same quality of leather that is used in making boots, saddles, and all manner of made-to-last, all-weather leather goods!

Perfect bag. The Dakota color is seriously underrated, it seems like one of the less popular colors at PLG but I find it so beautiful! I use pretty much every day - it for work, coffee shops, farmers market etc. Goes with any outfit, especially love it paired with an oversized blue jean jacket. Though the handles are grizzly, the large coldbrew tassel works so well with it — the pebbles give it a very Western vibe. Note - the photo makes it look scratched in front but irl this is barely noticeable and rub out easily.
The color on my Dakota leather tote is absolutely gorgeous! I meant to order the OS but got the Large accidentally. It’s too pretty, I can’t return it, so I’m going to order the OS in another color eventually. I got the Grizzly Utility bag and Sidekick pouches to match and they match the dark brown handles perfectly.
I eagerly waited for my purchases to arrive! Delivery was quicker than I expected! It was such a joyful experience opening up the box and discovering all my new treasures! As I unwrapped each package, I smile from ear to ear. The colors and quality of the leather were exceptional and I am so pleased with my purchases. Beautiful smooth leather tote. I love the leather smell. Stands up on its own. Large enough to hold my work supplies.
I now have two large zippered totes and they're great! It can fit much more than I typically need day to day. Great for traveling. The straps hang well off the shoulder. They took about a week to soften up. Bacalar is a beauty!
