The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I kept seeing images of people hiking and camping and doing all sorts of outside activities with their Canyon Hawkeye bags. I don't hike, or camp, or barely do anything in the great outdoors, but I can't get enough of this bag! It's tough, it can take a beating, and I've only been using it for a few days. It fits my necessities and doesn't encourage me to put a lot of excess stuff in there just because I have the room. It's the perfect size. I love that the strap is thicker than those on the other crossbodies. I vote for all crossbody straps to be this thick! Who's with me?
I ordered the Hawkeye in Lava, when I heard it was being discontinued and I’m so glad I did. I love the bag and the lava is beautiful. I didn’t know I needed the Hawkeye until I received it, so happy to have it.
The bag is a perfect size from running errands to going to local festivals. It carried everything I needed and then some. I love that the shape is very different from the other crossbody PLG options and lays neatly against the body.
When I saw the Hawkeye satchel go on sale I was so excited to pick out a new color for my spring bag! I've had my eye on this bag for awhile. I love the size and color (Storm). My only (minor) issue is that I prefer my purse straps to be on the side of the bad rather than on the back, but that is a personal preference.
Loving how this bag is looking after using it for a couple weeks. Holds my Bozeman large size wallet and a Luna pouch along with my phone. Highly recommend this bag.
